Certification Requirements For Rhode Island
Responsible alcohol training is mandated by the state of Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation. Rhode Island liquor code, Regulation 8, Rule 43 states; "Persons who sell or serve alcoholic beverages, anyone whose job description entails the checking of identification used in connection with the purchase of alcoholic beverages, and any valet parking working at an establishment that sells or serves alcoholic beverages, must receive alcohol server training from a server training program approved by the Department as set forth herein."

Certification Requirements for Washington D.C.
Responsibe alcohol training is mandated by the District of Columbia. The District of Columbia's liquor code requires all managers of a licensed establishment to be certified in an alcohol training and education program that is conducted by a Board-approved provider.
All liquor license holders and their managers must complete an approved alcohol training and education program and submit proof of completion of the course with the Manager's License application to the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA).
TIPS Alcohol Training Online is accepted for use in Washington DC.

Certification Requirements for Utah
Every individual who sells or furnishes alcoholic beverages to the public in Utah, must complete an Alcoholic Beverage Server Training and Education Seminar if that person is furnishing the alcohol for consumption on the business premises.
Anyone who serves alcohol in the State of Utah should take this training and receive their certificaion. By Utah law, servers of alcohol must complete the training within 30 days of beginning employment.
